Young & Aware: Psychoeducation as a Key to Social Engagement

The Young & Aware project aims to increase civic engagement and develop emotional coping skills among 110 young people aged 15–20 from Radom and Radom County by December 2027.
As part of the project, participants will take part in psychoeducation workshops, activities developing civic and social skills, individual sessions with psychologists and coaches, as well as a Youth Forum, which young people will co-create and run themselves.
Participants will gain knowledge about emotions, relationships and communication, while learning how to plan social initiatives, work with others and become more actively involved in their local communities.
An important part of the project will be a youth initiative competition. The three best ideas will receive financial and expert support, enabling participants to turn their ideas into real initiatives within their local communities.
The project aims to strengthen young people’s emotional awareness, civic attitudes and sense of agency, helping to build the foundations of an active and empathetic society.
