Wolo_Up – Development and Professionalisation of Volunteering in Organisations

Great news!
Students from Zwolnieni z Teorii have successfully brought their initiative to completion. The GameEdu platform is now live!
We invite all students, and anyone interested, to learn through play. We are delighted that our project could contribute to such an inspiring initiative and help it reach so many students.
We will continue to support the team behind the project as they take it forward.
GameEdu – A New Approach to Learning
We are delighted to announce that GameEdu has won the competition for the first volunteer initiatives organised as part of our project.
The initiative was created by students from St. Stanisław Staszic 11th High School with Integrated Classes, as part of Zwolnieni z Teorii, under the guidance of Milena Jaśkiewicz and Katarzyna Fijałkowska.
Why did GameEdu impress us?
Because it boldly addresses one of the most significant challenges facing modern schools: declining student engagement.
GameEdu aims to transform traditional lessons into exciting challenges by using gamification and modern technology.
As part of the project, the students are developing an online platform that will serve as the foundation for further activities.
The project aims to:
🎯 increase students’ motivation and satisfaction,
🤝 encourage collaboration and critical thinking,
📚 reduce teachers’ workload by providing ready-to-use lesson plans,
🌍 promote equal access to education through free educational tools.
And all of this is being developed through volunteering, driven by passion and a genuine desire to create positive change.
For that energy, creativity and courage, we say: CONGRATULATIONS!
Wolo_Up
The Wolo_Up project aims to increase civic participation across four counties in the Radom subregion: Radom County, Białobrzegi County, Lipsko County and the City of Radom.
The project supports organisations, institutions and local residents in developing modern forms of volunteering, strengthening their skills and promoting and expanding formal volunteering through December 2027.
As part of the project, we are developing modern educational and promotional tools designed to make volunteering more accessible, visible and engaging.
