NGO Development Academy – 3

For the third time, the Mazovian Voivodeship Self-Government has placed its trust in us and provided funding for the implementation of our flagship project, NGO Development Academy.
The aim of the project is to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of at least 18 non-governmental organisations operating in the Radom subregion through a comprehensive training and consultation programme running until December 2022.
How Will We Achieve This?
Through a series of activities:
1. Training
Fundraising Workshops
9 hours × 2 groups
a) The Third Sector & Fundraising Basics
An introduction to the third sector and fundraising, including an overview of third-sector activities, the fundamentals of fundraising, an introduction to fundraising methods, attracting donors, building fundraising relationships and practical examples from NGO experience.
b) How to Prepare a Professional Sponsorship Proposal
A practical workshop on how to prepare a professional sponsorship proposal tailored to a specific, clearly defined group of potential sponsors, based on CSR (corporate social responsibility).
c) How to Build a Crowdfunding Project from Scratch
Participants will learn how to define a project and its objectives, determine the desired form of support and select an appropriate crowdfunding platform.
2. Grant Application Development Workshops
9 hours × 2 groups
Where to find information about grant competitions, how to prepare for writing a funding application, what elements a project should contain and how to present them effectively to gain the evaluators’ approval.
3. Organisational Image-Building Workshops
9 hours × 2 groups
How organisations can communicate effectively with their stakeholders, manage their websites, maintain an active presence on social media and initiate relationships with the media.
Each recruited group can choose whether the training is delivered in person or online. The option of online delivery was introduced in response to the pandemic situation.
4. Individual Consultations for Organisations
90 hours of advisory support
Each of the 18 participating organisations will receive 5 hours of individual consultation with a specialist.
The consultations will provide organisations with practical support tailored to their individual needs and help them apply the knowledge and skills gained during the training.
