NGO Academy 4

The NGO Academy 4 project focuses on supporting and developing 27 non-governmental organisations operating in the Mazovian Voivodeship. The project is led by the Kombinat Social Engagement Association, with the Staropolski Cluster of Social Economy Association as its partner.

Project Target Group

The project is aimed at 27 non-governmental organisations from two counties in the Mazovian Voivodeship:

Lipsko County: Chotcza and Ciepielów Municipalities

Radom County: Wolanów Municipality

Each of the 27 organisations will delegate at least one person to participate in the project, giving us a minimum of 27 participants.

The project is also open to people with disabilities, who are given priority during the recruitment process.

What We Offer

Training

A total of 81 hours of training is planned, divided into three groups of 27 hours each. This allows the programme to be tailored to the needs of members of local NGOs.

Choose from the Following Topics

1. Fundraising Workshops

a) The Third Sector & Fundraising Basics

An introduction to the third sector and fundraising, including different fundraising methods, how to attract donors, how to build fundraising relationships and practical examples from NGO experience.

b) How to Prepare a Professional Sponsorship Proposal

A practical workshop on developing a professional sponsorship proposal tailored to a specific, clearly defined group of potential sponsors, based on CSR (corporate social responsibility).

c) How to Build a Crowdfunding Project from Scratch

Participants will learn how to define a project and its goals, determine the desired form of support and choose an appropriate crowdfunding platform.

2. Grant Application Development Workshops

Where to find information about grant competitions, how to prepare for writing a funding application, which elements a project should contain and how to present them effectively to evaluators.

3. Organisational Image & Communications Workshops

How organisations can communicate effectively with their stakeholders, manage their websites, maintain an active social media presence and build relationships with the media.

Each recruited group can choose whether the training is delivered in person or online. The option of online delivery was introduced in response to the pandemic situation.

4. Online Security Workshops

Cybercrime poses a significant threat to non-governmental organisations. Staying alert and taking a proactive approach is essential to protecting organisational data.

Cyberattacks can disrupt an organisation’s work and prevent it from fulfilling its mission.

The workshops will develop participants’ knowledge and skills in areas including:

cybercrime and cybersecurity;

social media security;

personal data protection;

copyright;

data security;

computer and mobile device security.

5. Individual Consultations

Individual meetings with experts who can provide practical support in developing participants’ projects.

Where needed, consultations can also be provided online.
