Mazovian NGO Development Academy – 6 is a project designed to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of 30 non-governmental organisations operating in two counties of the Mazovian Voivodeship through a comprehensive training and consultation programme running until December 2025.
Project Activities
Training Programme – 75 Hours
The project includes 75 hours of training for representatives of non-governmental organisations.
The training programme is divided into 7 thematic modules, addressing the most common needs of organisations in the areas of development, management and compliance with current regulations.
Training Modules
1. Fundraising
Funding strategies for NGO activities, grant application writing and cooperation with funding organisations.
2. Accounting & Financial Management
The fundamentals of NGO accounting, project budgeting and financial reporting.
3. Organisational Management
Strategic planning, teamwork, and internal and external communication.
4. Legal Aspects of NGO Operations
Formal requirements, contracts, employment law and management board liability.
5. Data Protection (GDPR)
Rules for processing personal data in non-governmental organisations.
6. Use of AI and Technology in Public Benefit Organisations
Innovative digital tools supporting the development and day-to-day operations of NGOs.
7. Accessibility in NGO Projects
Principles for ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities in line with accessibility legislation.
Individual Consultations for Organisations – 90 Hours
After completing the training programme, each participating organisation will have the opportunity to receive individual consultations with specialists.
A total of 90 hours of consultations is planned, providing 3 hours of support for each of the 30 organisations.
The consultations are designed to deepen the knowledge and skills gained during the training and help organisations put them into practice.
Each organisation will choose one of the seven thematic areas according to its development needs and continue working on it individually with a specialist.
Target Group
Representatives of non-governmental organisations from the Mazovian Voivodeship, including members, employees and volunteers.
At least 2 people with disabilities, who will receive support in accordance with the principles of full accessibility.
Project Impact
The project is a comprehensive capacity-building programme for NGOs in the Mazovian Voivodeship, combining theory with practical application.
By bringing together training, individual consultations and expert support, participants will gain practical tools to improve the effectiveness of their organisations, strengthen their internal structures and increase their social impact.
